Hyderabad Airport placed 5th! International Survey 2011
What are the things you want from an airport? For me it's quick arrivals and departures!
India's airports are state-of- the- art and ranked even better than most western countries.
I am a frequent traveller to Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata airports and gobsmacked with the cleanliness, decor, facilities, shops and atest take-away food chains!
Kolkata still has a long way to go but New Delhi is new, just built in time for the Commonwealth Games in 2011.
Bangalore airport is now approx 2-3 years old and is on par with most western countries. I really thought I had landed into another country after taking a domestic flight from Kolkata to Bangalore. A complete contrast from the outdated Kolkata airport.
Mumbai is also stunning, the picteresque backdrop of the bay is very pretty.
Well done India on coming 5th! It is well deserved!
